About

weTheON — Shopify themes focused on speed, accessibility, and RTL support.

What I Build

Themes for merchants who need more than just good looks. Every theme is built from the ground up with three non-negotiables:

  • Speed — CSS-first architecture, minimal JavaScript, progressive enhancement. Not as a marketing claim, but as a fundamental design decision.
  • Accessibility — Full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, keyboard navigation, screen reader optimization. Because 15% of the world's population lives with some form of disability, and your theme shouldn't lock them out.
  • RTL support — Native right-to-left layouts for Arabic, Hebrew, and Farsi. The MENA e-commerce market is $135 billion and growing at 21% annually. Most Shopify themes ignore it or break it with plugins.

Who's Behind This

I'm Vladimir, a theme developer with 10+ years in e-commerce. I built 14 themes for Webasyst Shop-Script between 2014 and 2022, earning over 1,000 five-star reviews. After that, I spent two years building production systems at scale — an airline website serving millions of passengers, and enterprise portals for a major tech company.

I came back to theme development because I couldn't stay away. Building themes is a complete creative act: architecture, design, and empathy all at once. A theme serves thousands of merchants, not just one client.

Current Focus

First product line: a theme for handmade jewelry and accessories. Then beauty. Then fashion.

The first theme is currently in development, with submission to Shopify Theme Store planned for Fall 2026.

I'm building in public. This blog is where I share what I learn — about speed, accessibility, RTL, and the art of making themes that actually serve merchants instead of just looking good in demos.
